About Us
Toys and educational resources have been sent to village schools, educational establishments and centres for disabled children in Africa. They have also been supplied to schools and children’s homes in India, Bulgaria, Egypt and South Africa. |

We live in a country where children have so much. At ‘The Owl and the Pussycat' project we are trying to encourage children to realise that they can make a difference in the life of another child. One of our aims is to help children understand that giving to others can be as exciting as receiving!
How many times are children told to tidy their rooms? Our Project Manager, Georgina Varney, commented that on a visit to a children’s home in Bulgaria, she was amazed at the tidiness of the children’s rooms. Why was this? This was because the children had only two small toys by their beds. It is difficult to imagine owning so little. The toys and resources we have sent have really made a difference to so many children. If you feel that you would like to get involved in some way, then please look at our ‘Ways To Help’ section. |
